Oversee the daily activities of residential and small commercial construction jobs and act as customers personal point of contact with contractors, suppliers and others involved with the build. Coordinate design for the project, obtaining and managing all the paperwork and permits required for the job. Collecting the various bids, hiring the contractors, getting sub-contractors when needed and supervising everyone involved. Ordering and organizing all of the materials and supplies to keep the work running smoothly on the custom home, or commercial project. Ensure that the job is being done according to project specifications and local building codes and each phase of construction passes inspection.Directing the mortgage process and the inspections for lending. Guide customer through each step of construction by taking tours of the site, answering any questions customer may have about the building process and highlight any areas I feel need extra attention from customer.
