Work with a team consisting of Plans Examiners, Building Inspectors, and consultants with plan reviews, inspections, manpower, customer service, and technology needs. Responsible for activities in several areas to include but not limited to: mentoring of team, budgeting, plan reviews, inspections, implementation and adoption of building codes, staffing, customer service, jurisdictional relations, resource management, legal/regulatory compliance, reporting, financial management, and representation.

Oversight & management of operations for all aspects of Building Department functions: supervision of department, mentoring of staff, budgeting, plan reviews, inspections, implementation and adoption of building codes, county ordinances, and floodplain regulations.

The Board of Managers advises ICC-ES on business matters. The ICC Chief Executive Officer recommends appointees for ratification by the ICC Board of Directors. Ten members currently serve on the Board of Managers, who, as code officials, architects, and engineers, offer many years of experience working with code enforcement. Their knowledge of the built environment provides valuable insight to ICC-ES on public safety issues and allows for a balanced decision-making process while providing evaluation reports on construction products with life-safety as the primary goal.
