I began structural steel detailing in 1993. After a couple years, I was introduced to SDS and eventually got my NISC certification. I later worked for a fabricator, was introduced to X-Steel (Tekla) where I got more experience and understanding.In 2003 I went to the Philippines as an efficiency consultant for about a year. I then decided to live there and started my own detailing office in 2004.Around 2010, I began an 11-year sabbatical to help raise my children. I returned State-side in 2019 working as a security officer in a casino and got back into detailing in 2021.In my time away from work, I craft nautical-themed carry bags and other types of knotwork (such as 3D knotted sculptures), chainsaw sculptures, lamps and various other woodwork/craftwork. I play bass guitar and enjoy Jazz & Heavy Metal.
