Windsor Leadership is a charitable organisation whose objective is to further the development of current and future leaders across all sectors (private, public, not-for-profit, faith groups etc). I have been a regular facilitator on Windsor programmes for over ten years.

HSMC is the residents management committee for Highbury Stadium Square, a development of 720 residential units on the site of the former Arsenal football ground. The RMC is made up of volunteers from amongst the leaseholders and oversees a wide range of property management duties.

ProCook is a retailer of kitchenware products manufactured to its own designs and under its own brand name. The company has revenues of c.£70m and has a premium listing on the London Stock Exchange following successful IPO in November 2021.

Naked Wines is a specialist on-line only wine retailer operating a subscription model. It has revenues of c.£350m across three markets: UK, Australia and the US, of which the latter is now the largest and fastest growing. I joined the board as NED in November 2017 and took over as chair of the Audit Committee in 2018, becoming SID in 2020 and Chairman in 2022

I joined the board of Joules in the run-up to its successful IPO in May 2016. Joules is a multi-channel retailer of distinctive clothing for women, men and kids, with sales of c£200m in the UK and overseas. Sadly, Joules entered administration in November 2022 after a prolonged period of challenging trading.

Card Factory is the UK's leading greetings card retailer with over 1,000 shops and (prior to Covid) over £400m annual revenue. I joined the board at the time of IPO in 2014. The business continued to grow post-IPO whilst upgrading its systems and processes. It underwent significant change in 2020 due to the Covid19 pandemic.

I was a member of the university's governing Council, as well as chair of the Audit Committee. The university has over 35,000 students, earns revenues of £650m, is engaged in multiple major capital projects (investing over £100m per year), and retains a strong position in UK university ranking tables.

I was CFO throughout my 12 years with Dunelm including through IPO in 2006, and with additional responsibilities covering IT and HR functions between 2007-2014. The business grew from c£200m revenue when I joined to c£1bn when I retired, with excellent margins and market capitalisation of £2bn. I returned as Interim CFO for seven months in 2018, to assist the newly appointed CEO in stabilising the business after a turbulent couple of years.
