As a member of an underrepresented population, I have prioritized education in order to improve my standard of living. I graduated with a B.S. in biochemistry in 2018, and transitioned to inorganic chemistry at Montana State University. At MSU, I made molecules that turn fertilizer into air, with alternative sources of green energy as the end goal. While in Bozeman, I have worked as a union leader and founded a school council to try and improve the life of graduate students here at MSU. I have volunteered at the local middle school, sharing my love of science with children, as well as presented complex technical data at conferences to professionals in a variety of different fields. I love to climb, run, snowboard, and learn new skills.
