Working with the FM’s to calculate and implement trades across the desk Portfolios. Contributing to the investment decision process, ensuring funds remain in line with stated target strategy, whilst allocating cashflows and giving instructions to underlying fund managers to ensure underlying assets in line with benchmarks.• Responsible for restriction monitoring ensuring all trades conform with client mandates and in-house rules. • Monitoring trade execution and settlement of trades, providing updates to the FM’s on execution. • Ensuring trades are correctly reported in Accounting and Analytic Systems.• Monitoring the impact of, and managing, cashflows, asset allocations and fund transitions.• Maintaining all trade records and back up documentation.• Managing and updating Portfolio models.• Providing daily reporting sheets on performance, cash balances and positions for all funds for internal review by FMs highlighting potential accounting issues. • Monitoring and maintenance of daily cash balances and margin movements. • Resolving pricing and accounting issues.• Monitoring portfolios for corporate actions, fund distributions and asset expiry. • Producing regular and ad-hoc reports. • Liaising internally with Investment Managers, Portfolio Accounting, Trade Operations, Legal and Corporate Action teams.
