Overview Applied Biologics is the provider of AmnioGenic Therapy®, which is a regenerative, surgical allograft. AmnioGenic Therapy® uses the regenerative medicine properties found in amnion-derived technologies to treat a variety of tissue defects through the use of two products, FloGraft®, and XWrap®. FloGraft® is a cryopreserved, liquid injectable that is processed amniotic fluid combined with morselized amniotic membrane. FloGraft® is used by orthopedic surgeons and general surgeons alike to treat a variety of tissue defects in surgical applications. The flowable nature of this product make it a one-of-a-kind regenerative allograft providing both an extracellular matrix scaffold necessary for tissue regeneration together with a rich source of necessary stem cells and growth factors.XWrap® is a processed amniotic membrane wrap, cover or patch used both in vivo and topically. XWrap® provides surgeons with an anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-adhesion biological dressing that serves as the scaffold upon which native tissue regenerates by way of the bio-active compounds within the processed AM. XWrap® is developed using a proprietary technique providing for a longer lasting regenerative adhesion barrier.The AmnioGenic Therapy® product line is used to treat a variety of soft tissue defects including orthopedic indications, spine surgeries, nerve repair, tendon repair, ligament repair, complex wound treatment, diabetic ulcers, general surgeries, and more. The products have been used to treat ACL tears, without surgery, rotator cuff repairs, without surgery. When surgery is needed, AmnioGenic Therapy® is used to provide (1) an anti-microbial, (2) anti-inflammatory, (3) regenerative (4) adhesion barrier.
