I am currently working in Health informatics as a Clinical Application Specialist with Telstra Health, across a number of projects in the Electronic Medical Records and Virtual Health spaces. Prior to this my background was in Orthopaedics and General Surgery where I worked in private and public hospitals in Queensland and Western Australia for over 25 years. Besides my clinical roles I have also worked as a Nursing Lecture, Graduate Program Coordinator and most recently as a Clinical Risk Audit Nurse.Improving hospital systems through the assessment and identification of trends in care and assisting new clinicians to learn the ropes are two of my professional drives.
