I have the privilege of serving as Meyers Nave’s Managing Principal. I began this role in January 2011, building on the solid foundation laid by former Managing Principals Steve Meyers and Jayne Williams. For over 35 years, we have been honored to partner with our clients throughout California on a “results-oriented” approach involving complex and high stakes litigation, advisory, regulatory and transactional matters. Above all, we understand that we have an opportunity to positively impact the lives of people in our diverse state and country. I am proud of the reputation and brand we have built, the leadership of our attorneys in the legal profession, and the commitment of all Meyers Nave employees to give back to the communities where we live and work. In regards to my own practice, I started at Meyers Nave in May 1991, when the firm had less than 10 attorneys. I am grateful that Mike Nave (as personable and generous as they come) was my mentor. Mike, who retired in 2004, was one of the few “Deans” of California Eminent Domain Law, specializing in property acquisition matters since the early 1960’s. For the last 30 years, I have focused on representing public entities and private sector clients in high profile and sensitive land acquisition and disposition matters for major infrastructure projects throughout California. I also represent public and private sector clients in other high impact litigation matters. I am a trial attorney with extensive jury trial and bench trial experience. Alongside my extraordinary colleagues, who are also leaders in their respective practice areas in California, I enjoy collaborating with our clients on effective strategies to resolve multi-layered legal, political and public relations matters.
