I have been working as a clinical Lab Technologist in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, Laboratories of Genetics and Genomics, specifically Microarray. In this position, I act as a medical scientist operating in a Mayo clinical lab. I perform advanced diagnostic testing and analysis of patient samples through intricate laboratory settings and procedures, in order to derive whole genome information. This lab specializes in diagnostics for reasons of suspected hereditary and oncological illnesses.

I assisted in running the operation of my family's farm. I had the opportunity to learn and grow in knowledge of crops through field work, animal care through herd tending, and even developed minor skills in mechanics, electronics, and plumbing and irrigation.
