I tracked budget and appropriations action on Social Security programs and brief the Board on the status of decisions. I drafted congressional testimony and correspondence for the Chair and other members of the Board. I developed a new budget formulation and presentation process and Excel-based data system to manage and track the Board’s $2.3 million administrative budget. I developed an Excel-based financial management system for managing and tracking agency expenditures. I managed office information technology (IT) systems, including systems administration of office local area network and 15 staff workstations, monitored and managed performance of a multi-year IT contract as the designated Contract Officer Representative (COR), and worked with others on the staff to keep the SSAB's website up to date.
