I am a co-founder of Beveridge & Diamond’s Seattle, Washington office. My practice is focused on environmental litigation and compliance counseling, including air and water quality regulation, hazardous waste handling and remediation, and contaminated site cleanups under federal and state laws. A cornerstone of my practice is advising clients on national air quality and climate change issues. My work has included a wide range of CAA compliance issues, including Title V, NSR/PSD, NSPS, and NESHAP/MACT projects. I also devote a significant portion of my practice to handling complex environmental remediation and restoration projects, and have extensive experience in successfully and efficiently prosecuting and defending cost recovery and natural resource damages claims under CERCLA and state Superfund laws. I received my B.S. in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Oregon, and my J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law. In law school, I was an Associate Editor of the Oregon Law Review. In college, I was a captain for the Oregon Ducks football team, as well as a three-time Pac-10 conference All-Academic selection. Away from my law practice, I enjoy rooting for my Ducks and spending time with my wife, Courtney, and our two lively daughters.I served as the Seattle Office Managing Principal from 2017 to 2023. Prior to Beveridge & Diamond, I was a Principal at Riddell Williams P.S., a member of the compensation committee and the chair of Riddell's Environmental Practice Group.
