• Manage community science programs that teach about or improve local ecology, science literacy, and environmental stewardship in Rochester, NY.
• Supervise a team of up to 9 part time employees and 16 employed high school students.
• Manage the Urban Ecologist Program that introduces youth to careers in environmental science while empowering them to be ambassadors for the environment in their own neighborhoods.
• Manage the Rochester chapter of the Urban Wildlife Information Network using 30 wildlife cameras deployed in urban areas to conduct research to enhance our knowledge of urban wildlife and their relationships with people.
• Manage the Butterfly Beltway Project that engages volunteers to create upwards of 25 pollinator habitats annually while educating the public on pollinator conservation.
• Create metrics and develop systems to track progress of environmental successes and volunteer recruitment and retention.
