With more than 36 years of expertise in project management across the United States, Canada, Africa and Latin America, I bring a comprehensive and diverse perspective to the complete project process.Coming from a large family, our parents taught us hard work and self-reliance which have guided me through life. In high school, I worked at an electrical and plumbing store where I learned business and honed my problem-solving skills. This is where my interest in construction began. After serving a church mission in Argentina I returned and married my wife and together are enjoying this journey through life with our 7 children and their families.In 1988, I entered Brigham Young University, while working as an electrician to finance us through college. Over six years, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management and a Master's Degree in Technology Management, all while helping my wife raise our ever growing family.My first post college job was on a multi-family housing project. As I advanced, I took on more project management responsibilities and was able to lead a team in the construction of the Bobsled and Luge track for the 2002 Olympic Games. I was over my head but there I learned life long skills from being involved in such a large and complex project.I moved to Jacobson Construction where I spent 18 years working on major construction projects throughout the world with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and others. For a period of time our family even moved to Mexico to supervise construction. I was mentored , trained and promoted to VP with responsibility for projects in the US and South America. I transitioned from working as the builder to the owner during the reconstruction of the Provo Tabernacle / Temple in Utah in 2014. While working for the Church I was involved in many new temple, housing and welfare projects in the US, Canada and Latin America. On these projects, I managed teams of land acquisition, design, construction and budgeting professionals. Ultimately, good luck guided me to finally work with my brother / founder of Centra Companies, a real estate / building company. As President of Centra Companies, I have over-site of all subsidiaries including capital partners, land acquisition, development, construction, sales, and real estate asset management. I love to leverage the skills I’ve been taught as I contribute to the development of our Centra Companies.I am excited to bring great returns to our investors and look forward to sharing those opportunities with my friends and associates.
