My responsibilities as Senior OCS Engineer at Gannett Fleming are to assist in being client representative to CalTrain for their CalTrain Rail Electrification Project. Duties include QC reviews of specs and drawings, provide field support to address design issues. Performed 30% to 100% OCS design of LACMTA's Crenshaw Yard Maintenance Facility. Design included working with other disciplines and LA Metro personnel on fixed termination single contact wire OCS poles, foundations, headspans, sectioning, building attachments, pulloffs, terminations and tie in to other contractors auto-tensioned main line design. Performed 35% predesign for Sound Transit's EOMF yard for East Link expansion. Design included working with other disciplines, OCS pole layout, reviewing and evaluating OCS clearances for various proposals pertaining to future development of buildings either above or in close proximity to yard OCS.

Greater Seattle Area

My responsibilities as OCS Engineer at LTK Engineering Services were to coordinate with our client Sound Transit in performing pre-design work, QC work, on all OCS elements including poles, pole foundations, tunnel supports, changing Downtown Seattle from ETB to Light Rail design, single and double track cantilevers, wire overlaps and sectioning, yard head spans, midpoints for auto-tensioned catenary. Provided construction support including submittal reviews, field design support, pole manufacturer deflection testing, cost estimating, answering contractor RFI questions, and coordination with public agencies, utilities and clients. Major projects worked on for Sound Transit were: Central Link, Tacoma Link, Airport Link, University Link, Yard Expansion, North Link and East Link. Worked as OCS designer for City of Seattle's First Hill Streetcar. Worked as OCS designer for City of Sacramento's Regional Transit 5 mile Blue Line extension from Meadowview to Consumnes River Community College.

King County Metro

My responsibilities as Electric Trolley Bus (ETB) Designer at King County Metro were to review consultant ETB designs, coordinate work with public & private agencies, analyze, administer, design and implement all aspects of ETB designs. My work included review of Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel when it was designed for ETB use only. My work included various small works projects proposed by ETB drivers to improve ETB driving performance. I also worked on the Route 70 ETB extension from downtown Seattle to the University of Washington.

Pacific Northwest

My responsibilities as field engineer were to provide construction support on four projects located in Richland Wa, Tacoma Wa, Prudhoe Bay Ak and Kalama Wa. My duties included designing solutions to field fit problems, design temporary supports, author extra work orders, review shop drawings, survey foundations, purchase materials, assist with scheduling, and track project costs and progress.
