This isn't suprising given that more than 75% of people suffer from some sort of speech anxiety. We often get anxious, tense and nervous before meetings, interviews, work and networking events, presentations and even if we don't the chances are that are cortisol is spiking. As a result, we rarely show our best selves in these types of situations. One of the main reasons for this tension and inability to show the best version of ourself is that very few of us have ever had public speaking or communication skills training. It's simply a skill we have never had any or much guidance on and focussed training for. This is where I come in.
