For more than a decade, I served as Executive Director of the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP), a think tank association of medical professionals and industry partners in the field of wound care. I spent the first decade of my career with Texas Instruments (TI), initially providing design engineering and capital project management for new construction and modification of semiconductor manufacturing facilities, including clean rooms, industrial HVAC systems, utility gas and liquid piping systems, process equipment, and flexible manufacturing systems. I then supervised a team of 15 millwrights, master electricians, and controls technicians for TI’s Dallas Central Utility Plant and 7 million ft.² of manufacturing, office and warehouse facilities supporting semiconductor and defense systems manufacturing with process water, power distribution, waste treatment, and pollution abatement.Finally, I joined Corporate Safety, where I provided internal customers at TI’s 50 manufacturing sites worldwide with regulatory compliance and technical support.
