David is a Principal Data Scientist and Master Inventor for IBM Weather Business Solutions, AI ApplicationsCloud and Cognitive Software . As one of the highest level Data Scientists in IBM he is responsible for designing leading edge marketing analytics and the utilization of information as an asset through data consolidation, business intelligence, big data, and operationalised advanced data mining. In his role, David is responsible for driving business value from data and developing relevant technology that directly grows business opportunities.He has had more than thirty-five years experience in the successful design, development, implementation, training and support of mission critical systems leveraging data analytics and optimization to provide business advantage. He has been a business intelligence and data analytics advisor to senior executives (CEO, CFO, CMO, CIO, CDO) in many countries, including: USA, UK, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, Canada, Finland, Germany, Czech Republic and the Middle East in various industries, including: Insurance, Banking, Telco, Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Government, Airline, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Agriculture, and Automotive. He was a key resource in the launch of IBM’s focus on New Intelligence in the use of data analytics, Artificial Intelligence, optimization services, solutions in fraud, risk and compliance, marketing optimization and analytic transformation. He is passionate about the consumability of analytics. David was the designer of an integrated marketing tool called Loyalty Identification Focused Targeting (LIFT). This tool allows a marketing professional to easily profile their customers and select target groups.
