Provided manufacturing input to the system team on new product design from concept to mass production. Was the focal point interface between product development team and factory team, supply chain, system information team. Provided DFX review, design for excellence, PCB/PCA schematics and BOM review at each phase of product development. Led the manufacturing team to support safe launch builds of new products and drove product quality efforts at each phase. Developed and implemented the product quality plan for each new product. Handed-on and analyzed early failure of system board includes X-ray, strained gauge test, Dye stain and board cross section failure analysis. Drove SVTP, regression test and the early warning capture program. Trained production engineer, factory engineer and ODM/CM on new products.

Responsible for component selection and qualification for alternative and discontinuance components both active and passive devices. Assisted hardware engineer, NPI engineers and production engineers to select suppliers and components. Performed schematics and BOM review to avoid discontinued parts used on new designs. Provided DFM and DFT review on PCB/PCBA . Drove component cost reduction for new designs and sustaining products.
