Member of a Ranger Rifle Squad within a Ranger Rifle Platoon. Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of assigned weapon system and associated equipment. Prepared to deploy to a tactical environment worldwide within 18 hours of notification to conduct light infantry, Ranger, and Special Operations missions in support of US Foreign Policy.• Graduated from the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program to become a member of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment, the United States Army’s premier direct action raid force.• On multiple occasions, adapted to complex and dynamic situations that required sound judgment and adherence to training standards when required to treat casualties, maneuver on enemy positions through restrictive terrain, and accomplish sensitive missions while under fire and against heavy enemy resistance.• Conducted over 150 Special Operations raids to kill or capture Taliban, Haqqani, and Al Qaeda leaders in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.• Decorated for valorous actions against armed enemies of the United States while conducting combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.• In 2011, participated in the longest sustained firefight of the war in Afghanistan that resulted in 108 enemy killed in action, including multiple high level Taliban commanders.• Displayed initiative in developing tactical proficiency, a high level of physical readiness, and displayed leadership among junior soldiers to be selected from among peers to attend the US Army Ranger Course.• As a junior enlisted soldier, adapted to physically and mentally demanding situations and displayed leadership necessary to graduate from the US Army Ranger Course – the Army’s premier leadership school.• As a junior enlisted soldier, displayed initiative in medical proficiency and tactical combat casualty care and was selected to undergo civilian certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
