I was initially employed by Lysaght & Co. in 1997 as a school-leaver with A-levels under my belt, looking to use my language skills in a business venture. I quickly gravitated into an I.T. role, and have headed-up the company's I.T. Department for a number of years. I have also been privileged to serve a role on the company's Management Team, advising on policy, strategy and other areas in which I have developed experience. I expanded my role within the business from July 2013 to include that of Knowledge Manager, and became a co-director and shareholder in the business, in April 2018.

Raven Consultancy is my sole-trading practice, serving the interests of a diverse client base, offering a broad variety of services from hardware, software and service procurement and deployment to the facilitation and implementation of new business ventures, web-site development, application development, information technology consultancy services, graphic design, various degrees and levels of project management, and more besides.

I joined my father's business ABA - Alan Booth Associates as an associate, fulfilling a variety of roles including that of Office Manager, and tending my father's business whilst he would be out doing reports, building valuations, project management works and similar. I left this role to pursue a career that was better able to make use of my modern language skills, which I wanted to get more use out of.

My first ever 'proper' job was working for Ogiers (then Ogier & Le Masurier) whilst waiting for the results of my A-levels from Victoria College. I was offered a full-time position in this role, but declined on the basis that the role I was fulfilling was not what had been presented to me when I had been interviewed. The role was actually little more than a copy-typist's position, and made no use of my language skills, so I sought opportunities elsewhere.
