As part of my duties, I implemented, insurance administration and risk management programs, and full insurance portfolio administration. I also oversaw, led, and directed the facility maintenance program for the corporate office and operational warehouse.Some of my key contributions are as follows:• After inheriting an out-of-date insurance portfolio, I renegotiated with the broker and carrier, and achieved the lowest Worker's Compensation in both claims and payout amounts in the company's history. I also successfully negotiated claims of costs across all lines of the business portfolio.• I facilitated an increase in eligibility for more sales contracts by implementing a 10-hour OSHA training for each field technician to bring their training current.• I implemented measures and controls to manage physical security and loss prevention for office/warehouse structure and mobile inventory in a fleet of 180+ vehicles throughout the geographical service area.

Leveraging my superior industry experience, I developed and implemented a strategic risk management framework for a $1.6B+ American magazine publishing and logistics company. With my expertise in insurance administration, Worker’s Compensations, and facilities management to direct and manage several departments. I was challenged to reduce Worker’s Compensation claims that were, at the time, above the industry average. I accepted and exceeded that challenge. Some of my key contributions are as follows:• I planned, prepared, and managed an operating and capital expenditure budget; achieved $3.3M+ in cost savings. • I successfully achieved a 10% reduction in Worker's Compensation claims, and severity cost YoY for five years by introducing a new safety program nationwide to promote the new safety culture.• I streamlined and automated the vendor/facilities management system/process taking it down from 2000 to 1 by writing an RFP and selecting one national vendor with straight line pricing nationwide for each trade. The new system allowed for one bill pre-coded for each facility and sent automatically into the accounting software.• I held leadership and accountability for 130 multi-function facilities, including class A office and industrial distribution and manufacturing plants. I also managed all physical security, loss prevention, and investigations.• I fully supported and reinforced corporate safety and risk strategies by designing and distributing Safety initiatives to all operating units within the organizational structure.

As Director of Security from 1994-1998 I successfully directed the security and loss prevention programs of one of the largest home entertainment products distributor of music, movies and games including over 200 million in inventory.
