I have been a IT professional for most of my life supporting operating systems from CP/M in the early 80s to Windows Server 2016 with UNIX, OS/400 and others along the way. I have also worked with a range of hardware ranging from single-chip embedded systems to 'big iron'. I've written and supported software ranging from compiled dBASE, consumer label-making to spacecraft control. But the purely electronic was never enough which is why I have also had a hand in designing, developing, testing and flying aerospace systems ranging from microsatellite launch systems to near-space lighter-than-air UAVs. Hardware built with my own hands and software devised in my own mind has taken flight to the edge of space.Specialties: Medical Case Management software, High altitude balloons, micro-satellite launch systems, project management, flight operations, software support, PC support, HIS systems support.
