I’ve led department managers and hundreds of team members; ensuring they have the skills, training, guidance and resources to be successful. I’ve established organizations priorities which drove the development of the organization, strategic planning and processes improvement. Although many people say it, my experience in the military has made me mission driven and results oriented. I believe before the organization can be successful, the individual and team has to be successful. I also believe you must set your sights on the long term, invest in your people and continue to innovate your processes to continue to be a successful industry leader.I have a consistent track record of utilizing analytic and reasoning abilities, and judgment to make timely, sound decisions on budgeting issues, reallocating personnel and resources, and changes to processes or priorities. I’m an effective communicator at all levels, both with customers to clearly identify requirements and satisfaction, as well as with in-house organizational leadership to keep stakeholders informed of program status, issues and actions taken to ensure business goals will be met.I’ve quickly learned and applied the knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, polices, processes and technical requirements to efficiently and effectively lead several diverse programs including: $85M flying operations for a 24 aircraft fighter squadron, NSA customer support to 28 federal agencies, $52M program to man and equip 3000 intelligence analyst, develop collaborative alliances with United Nations assistance mission operations to secure Afghanistan elections, and a $2M software development program.
