I authored a dBase II tutorial series entitled dTUTOR and dTUTOR Plus.I developed and instructed offshore weeklong C/UNIX training courses located in the Dominican Republic from 1984-1986. The "Introduction to UNIX" and "C" classes were taught as back-to-back one week sessions integrated with catered sight seeing opportunities of the island at about half the cost of a US-based course.I was one of the two architects of an extensive component tracking system using HP Touch Screen technology and Dbase II+ for the AMAX surface mining company in western Colorado. This system allowed truck/tractor component life cycles to be tracked from cradle to grave. The project took nearly two years to complete. This project began after functional and design specs had been approved. The deliverable also included staff training after project delivery and acceptance.
