I am an experienced team leader with expertise in engineering, agile methodology, full stack development, and data. I am motivated by learning through doing and I take care to learn from the experience of others as I develop my leadership and engineering skills. I am also passionate about supporting my coworkers in their career development. I work to help my peers leverage their strengths on projects through casual one-on-ones, pair-programming, and project check-ins. I have a mind for strategic use of resources and I'm energized by challenging problems that guide the evolution of products.My ideal position is an engineering manager. My key responsibilities would include: project backlog management, successful project delivery, and tactful career development of each project team member. In this role I would be able to create development stories, track and unblock project risks or issues, orchestrate high-level implementation plans, and regularly present status updates to the development team and stakeholders. My leadership skills and engineering expertise make me an accomplished technical manager who can communicate business and technology requirements to drive a project forward.Outside of engineering and project management, I have a leadership history with Illinois' largest student entrepreneurship nonprofit, Founders. This organization supports student entrepreneurs at UIUC and in the Midwest at large through educational opportunities, industry connections, networking, and funding sessions. I have continued supporting the organization on their advisory board for the past 2 years. I am looking for opportunities that require creativity, gumption, and compliment the entrepreneurial spirit.
