I have been in renewable energy for over 20 years with 16 of them being in leadership roles. During that time I've excelled at managing multimillion-dollar windfarms. My most recent experiences involve managing budgets ensuring to stay under budget, planning and executing scheduled maintenance, dealing with unplanned repairs, being involved in many fleet reliability projects, training and implementing LEAN standards at my sites and ensuring a safety culture with my teams. I have expertise in building elite teams to exceed expectations in the wind/renewable energy industry. I possess a positive work ethic with an innate ability to influence thought and provide creative problem-solving. I am a strategic leader with an unparalleled history of implementing projects that enhance efficiencies and quality. I started in northcentral Iowa(2002) as a wind technician on one of the only two wind farms in the state at the time. One of the benefits of starting in the wind industry's infancy in the Midwest was the opportunity to learn many different aspects of operating a commercial wind farm. As a wind technician, I was responsible for handling landowner issues, which are now handled by site owner representatives. I became experienced with Balance of Plant(BOP) while working as a high-voltage technician and as a site supervisor. While working as the site supervisor for EDF Renewables I served as the Iowa project manager for receiving and installation of the Iowa State Fair wind turbine. I also have the experience of starting up new wind farms in Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa from construction to commercial operations while working as an operations and maintenance manager for EDF Renewables. At that time, I also participated in the startup of major component exchange crews in the Midwest.
