I am a civil litigator with a passion for advocacy, which I apply in the areas of antitrust law, employment disputes, commercial litigation, and gun violence prevention. Prior to law school, I honed my research and writing skills as a nonfiction book editor and award-winning journalist. I learned how to investigate facts and craft narratives that change minds. I edited books that earned raves in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post; won numerous literary prizes; and were selected by outlets such as NPR as among the best titles of the year. My writing has appeared in the Minnesota Star Tribune, the Miami Herald, Lawfare, the Sacramento Bee, the Kansas City Star, and The Progressive magazine. In addition, my reporting was cited in front-page articles in both of Minnesota’s major daily newspapers and highlighted in a PBS documentary.
