Led & provided overall creative and strategic vision for a team of 5 full time staff and 2 interns responsible for organization-wide hiring & selection, onboarding, succession planning, performance management, & compensation, including: leadership, peace officers, skilled trade, interns, and professional staff (IT, operations, law, finance, engineering, HR, safety, customer service).RESULTS+ Improved service quality while reducing recruiting costs by 40% & background screening costs by 50%.+ Reduced time to fill by 50% and increased overall applicant diversity and quality of hire.+ Led the development of a strategic internship program for High School through Doctoral degree programs. In 2015, the Sewer District’s talent programs were featured in 3 different publications: Cleveland Business Connects Magazine, Cleveland Magazine, and Inside Business Magazine.+ Quadrupled the job posting impressions, click through rate, & applicant diversity & volume by utilizing search engine optimization (SEO) and social media platform integration/automation techniques.+ Performed skill and competency modeling and leveraged psychometric assessments used for pre-hire selection and skill development. + Designed, implemented, upgraded & enhanced the organization’s first Applicant Tracking System, Oracle iRecruitment; (Versions R11 & R12).+ Created “Careers In Utilities”, a public-private strategic sector partnership recognized as a “Promising Workforce Practice” by the State of Ohio.
