We built a custom audio engine, which handles all of the audio routing and signal processing features of the application. During this contract, I developed Wall Street Journal's What's News iOS app. I was the sole developer on the project, working with various in-house project managers and product designers in an agile manner.The product was built in Objective-C and the iOS SDK, utilising additional libraries for network communication and styling. The client provided the content for the application via an API, which served JSON and the associated assets. The API also handled user login and management.

The contract involved implementing the new PayM functionality in to their mobile banking application (cross platform – iOS, Android, Windows Phone etc). On the mobile side, the application is developed in Sencha Touch (a Javascript cross-platform framework) with SASS for styling, then built using PhoneGap. The back end is written in C# and .NET. I worked on the mobile side and the back-end, developing the new PayM functionality then implementing unit tests and automated UI tests (using Selenium). Due to my expertise in iOS development, I also worked on the native parts of the application.
