About David Hoard

31 years in design overall, with 24 years in User Experience, 7 years in Industrial Design. 15 of those years have been in MedTech / BioTech. I'm currently doing UX design and strategy for medical devices and software. How I think:I love figuring out the big-picture solution for customer experience end-to-end. For example, I did many projects at Belkin on wi-fi router customer experience: retail environment, packaging, unboxing, hardware user interface, setup web app, product graphics, printed instructions, and even some industrial design. It's really the customer journey we're designing, not individual components.Patents:13 utility and design patents granted, 13 more pending. Patents related to healthcare are shown in a section below. Patents for consumer products can be seen on Google Patents.
