There is no doubt that the speed at which the Digital sector is changing provides all those in education with a great challenge to keep up!Frankly, I believe as teachers we can not know what actually goes on within industry on a day to day basis, not what attributes are required from new recruits. Links with employers are therefore vital to inform us and therefore inform our teaching.I see it as a partnership with employers to develop an educational experience that will inspire young ambitious talent to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours which will see them thrive in digital careers.The arrival of the first Digital T-Levels in September 2020 gives us a once in a generation chance to profoundly change vocational education to more closely align how we prepare young people for the roles they will fulfil in the workplace.
