Managed various music departments within multiple JB Hi-Fi stores over a period of 4 years. Beginning at the JB Heidelberg store, and relocating to the Nunawading, Dandenong and Knox stores in later years. Responsibilities included buying, replenishment and merchandising of CDs and DVDs, meeting profitability KPIs, developing relationships with Industry representatives, enforcing JB Hi-Fi directives and change management within the department as well as championing Customer Service training with staff. Managing teams between 5-10 people, David gained extensive experience in the hiring and onboarding of new employees, rostering, team building, conflict resolution and mentoring of staff.
