Wrote a varied assortment of scripts and tools used to further enhance software functionality to meet the specific needs of each environment.Developed, tested, and released an internal tool for usage by Tripwire staff and a second tool for use by Tripwire customers to use for DR purposes to ensure the availability of our compliance solutions in their distributed environments.

Matured and expanded the deployment of a WAF and CDN on contract to a division of the Federal Government. Lead technical discussions with WAF vendor and internal departments to define and implement necessary protections without limiting intended traffic flow.Wrote updated WAF content inspection rules and in tandem with the WAF vendor, oversaw the implementation and testing of updated rulesets to provide appropriate protection on network traffic through the boundary layer and to mitigate vulnerabilities in downstream applications.Worked with my team on the design and implementation of bot detection protections at the boundary layer for the same set of web servers. Primarily responsible for Test/QA and Production deployment of bot protection--Developed a test suite of headless and traditional browser automation to successfully vet that bot protections were in place and limiting unintended traffic.

Managed project to define database schema and update internally developed loan servicing system for creation of accounting data and automated data feeds—Established secure storage process for federally regulated confidential loan documentation, and established secure data feeds to external client accounting systems. Lead discussions among internal software development staff, client portfolio staff, and external client business and technical staff.Lead client conversions of data from external systems into the product for servicing by PNC—Learned external system specifications, scrub data for import, build secure feeds and SQL import scripts, test and analyze results in test environment before implementing into production environment per our SDLC.Proposed case for, defined, and was hired for new position to provide data search, analysis, and ad-hoc query needs to all departments in addition to data scrubbing and translation on new client conversions. This role lead to the addition of further staff to support the data analysis and reporting wins I had pioneered.Represented the Servicing side and Development / IT for RFPs on system enhancement requests on the primary loan servicing system—translate business users’ needs to technical requirements for development staff to build.
