Something of a test driver for new ideas, processes, and systems. David is an innovative operations leader who helps firms develop process excellence and build best-in-class organizations. He partners with FCM clients to understand operational challenges, identify improvements, achieve alignment and enable speed to value during business transformations. Prior to his work at FCM, David held multiple roles in innovation and research & development at Nike, where he integrated materials, aesthetic and product operations. He defined commercialization processes to grow a core technology platform from producing 16 to over 80 million pairs annually and, most recently, managed technical materials supporting the delivery of over 320 million pairs annually for one of Nike’s top product lines. David also held commercial manufacturing leadership roles in production engineering with Valspar (paint and coatings manufacturer) and Ecolab (water treatment technology manufacturer). He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.Previously managed technical materials vendors for footwear with a focus on leveraging the power of science, technology, and art to create amazing products. Significant web and digital interaction experience, an old-millennial digital native, been on the internet for about 30 years. Expertise in equipment design & acquisition, commissioning, sensor integration, physical/digital system interaction, large scale manufacturing, and iterative improvement.Additional experience in a number of different industries: tax, aviation, financial services, footwear, oil and latex-based paints and coatings, QSR/F&B industrial cleaning supplies, and FMCGs. David learns quickly, troubleshooting from a number of angles, and not afraid to change methods or techniques abruptly.
