I head up the firm's Singapore Employment practice. I work with multinational employers to help solve complex HR and employee relations issues, as well as manage their overall employment legal risk. My practice spans the entire employment life cycle from hiring to firing (and beyond).Having practised in Asia for over a decade, I have a strong understanding of the regional issues around Asia Pacific with a focus on South and Southeast Asia. I help clients achieve outcomes that are not only compliant with local laws but also take into account local nuances and cultural norms.My non-contentious practice covers a broad range of issues including senior executive and C-suite terminations, employment contract and policy reviews, regional restructurings and redundancy exercises, global mobility, industrial relations, corporate transactional support and workforce harmonisations.I am an experienced litigator. I have supported clients on a variety of high-profile and sensitive employment disputes on issues covering termination, discrimination and harassment, bonuses and incentives, wage and benefit practices, restrictive covenants, fraud, bribery and corruption, and breach of confidentiality. I have represented clients across a variety of disputes forums.I am dual qualified in Hong Kong and England & Wales, and a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Singapore.I prioritise bringing a practical perspective to the table. I help clients achieve solutions-focused outcomes that take into account individual stakeholders, values and wider reputational issues.I work with clients across a broad range of sectors including retail, consumer goods, hospitality and leisure, financial services, insurance, life sciences, real estate and technology.I enjoy getting to know my clients and deepening relationships. My role is not only to give you legal advice, but to be your eyes and ears on the legal, political and regulatory landscape.I believe in pro bono. I have worked with a number of NGOs across a variety of subsectors including foreign domestic workers, ethnic minorities, the homeless and victims of sexual violence.
