David Gibson is co-Founder and Director of Hawke's Brewing Co., a highly awarded independently-owned beer company created in conjunction with former Australian Prime Minister, the Hon Bob Hawke AC. Hawke’s Brewing Co. was founded in April 2017 with Bob Hawke launching the company to nationwide media coverage valued at over $4m. Since then, the company has won multiple awards for its beer, including the coveted AIBA trophy for Hawke’s Lager (‘Best Australian Style Lager’) and a gold for Hawke’s Patio Pale (‘Best American Style Pale’).The company has a foundation partnership with Landcare Australia, Australia's largest not-for-profit environmental organisation, with contributions from beer sales helping to raise awareness and provide financial support for Landcare projects throughout the country. Prior to founding Hawke’s Brewing Co., David was a highly-awarded Creative Director at AdWeek’s ‘Agency of the Decade’, Droga5 New York, where he led work for Toyota, Motorola and Honey Maid, the latter of which earned international acclaim, including the advocacy of former President of the United States, Barack Obama.
