Consolidation of APAC's MPLS from multiple Carriers/VPN’s to a consolidated VPN hosted with internally managed CE’s and PNPVC’s for connectivity to the US / Canada / LATAM and EMEA.Migration to a new domestic MPLS in India – this involved a vendor selection process, a design phase and implementation of the new MPLS including dual redundant routers at the main Datacenter, and the implementation of new dual redundant firewalls with a secure ruleset that complied with the minimum baseline security standard.Migration to a new domestic MPLS in China hosted which included internet links in Shanghai, HK and Beijing and the installation of new firewalls.Implement PCI FIM via Splunk across Linux and Windows servers for the purpose of alerting of access and modification events for particular files and directories. This was a turning point as I was heavily involved in the design and implementation of internet facing infrastructure for this large bank.I am also very grateful to work for IBM as their ability to coordinate through process is second to none. For example their critical situation management was a site to behold and their follow up post incident review was thorough and always resulted in a RCA that the customer could trust as the truth.IBM's process is well developed and I learnt much from this mature company. This job was highly rewarding as it involved travelling to remote regions across new south wales to install IBM OS2 Warp workstations at National Australia Bank branches. One of my fond memories from this role was travelling up to the NAB branch in Walgett to upgrade their computers. The people were so nice up there, it was a great start to my budding infatuation with IT.
