My role as Financial Planning Director of Armstrong Watson Financial Planning involves working with a team of advisers, operating from locations throughout the North of England and South of Scotland to ensure that they are fully focussed and equipped to consistently deliver high quality advice to clients.I provide advice to around 50 private clients and businesses encompassing a wide range of needs including retirement planning and wealth management.Whilst our business has evolved over recent years we have retained our passion for providing great service but sharpened our client proposition to ensure that we focus on adding real value for clients.I am proud of the high quality of advice and client focus we provide at Armstrong Watson and also of the environment we have created for the advisers and support staff who work within our business.

My first role as an IFA - short lived after Barclays took over Sedgwick and merged all advice channels together creating an enormous field force with little direction

Worked as an Area Manager running a team of 10 retirement advisers providing essentially annuity related advice.

Worked as an adviser until the firm ceased writing new business. Chose not to remain and work for Halifax

Graduate training programme lead to role as Branch Manager at various locations around the West Midlands
