Supervisory Agent (4 Years)Texas Savings And Loan Department 1985 - 1989Served as Supervisory Agent and government regulatory liaison with Federal Home Loan Bank/Dallas overseeing five insolvent Central Texas thrifts with total assets of $3.1 billion and 74 separate locations in preparation for the Southwest Plan.Once a thrift was declared insolvent I was installed as the manager reporting to various state and federal regulators including the Texas Savings and Loan Department, FSLIC, FHLB/Dallas and FDIC. The thrifts for which I had responsibility included: Southern Savings Brownwood, TX Peoples Savings Llano, TX Lamar Savings Austin, TX Credit Banc Austin, TX Franklin Savings Austin, TXIn 1988, I was retained by Franklin Federal, a Southwest Plan thrift, to manage the FSLIC Assistance Agreement. This agreement included 2000+ assets and 50+ asset managers. Subsequently I became manager of the residential lending function for Franklin.
