As the Music and Booking Director, my goal is to keep the music exciting, fresh and diverse; to give patrons an incredible experience every time they experience the venue. This role includes talent buying, curating music, managing artist hospitality, and handling all public event inquiries. I oversee and produce every public event that occurs at the venue, around ~10 events weekly between House Of Yes and the Onyx Room sideroom venue. This includes interfacing and directing every department at HOY - Marketing, Production, and Operations. Every internally-programmed event requires hours of creative ideation and team collaboration, dreaming up themes, art direction, marketing campaigns, etc. Externally programmed events, aka co-pros, require hours of collaboration with outside producers to achieve their vision, while ensuring they are always aligned with the HOY mission and brand identity.

Music Director, Sound Designer, Band Leader, and Sound Operator for several successful shows at the venue, including Ketamine: The Musical and The House Of Yes Xmas Spectacular (2016, 2017, 2018), 420: A Ganjapalooza. I also collaborated on Dirty Panties: The Musical, and have worked on Dirty Circus.My most recent project: directing, supervising, and designing the music for The Devouring, now playing at the Paradise Club in the Times Square Edition Hotel.

Regularly plays at the venue, for all sorts of parties and themes, from disco to house, techno, funk, r&b, rock - all the tasty jams!

With the massive change in the nightlife experience as a result of COVID-19, producing virtual events for House Of Yes is paramount, in order stay relevant and find new ways to connect people. I handle all the technical details and work closely with House Of Yes clients such as Red Bull, The New School, Pinterest, NewFest, and others to create transformative experiences online.

Curates, books, contracts, and programs DJs and live bands for SantaCon NYC (A one day, non-profit event), for fifteen venues in midtown Manhattan, with approximately 30 time slots and DJs.SantaCon NYC raises approximately $100k for charity every year during this event.

Oversaw the music and public event bookings at House Of Yes & Ian Schrager's popup within the PUBLIC Hotel: House Of X.

Created the booking department and provided direction on talent buying for the club.

DJed every Sunday for Soho House brunch (mix of soul, motown, r&b)

Curated most of the music at the festival. Booked DJs and bands, created contracts, created lineup and schedule, ran the stage management team, and oversaw artist hospitality team. Also booked sound system vendors.

Conceived and executed unique events at unconventional venues such as: a parking garage in lower Manhattan, a junkyard in Bushwick, the back of a fried chicken shop, the Museum of Modern Art in Santo Domingo.Responsibilities included booking talent, fabricating decor, finding and booking venues, overseeing security and staff, running a bar, working with alcohol sponsors, arranging sound and lighting vendors. I also created unorthodox marketing campaigns which did not rely on traditional social media avenues.

Created a social media strategy and aesthetics using Tumblr, Instagram, Facebook, Soundcloud, and Twitter to gain followers, consumers and website traffic. Also coming up with branding ideas and activation, and bringing the company into the underground dance music scene in Brooklyn.
