My role is to manage the global Sustaining Engineering function for EMC's SourceOne and EmailXtender Archiving, eDiscovery and Compliance products. This includes defining and implementing processes for 24/7 on-call support utilizing sustaining teams in 3 global geographies, hot-fix request & delivery, maintenance release process/scheduling, service level objectives (SLO & KPI) and customer issue severity definitions, time tracking, and issue reporting/data collection. One of the primary functions is leading customer and executive communication and briefings during crisis management, interacting with the customer's IT, business and executive management teams directly, and providing solution action plans.

After 40+ years in the high tech/commercial software engineering industry I've decided to retire.

I was the Director of Client Development, managing the engineering teams that integrate Enterprise Rights Management and Content Protection features into business applications such as Microsoft Office, Solidworks, Adobe Acrobat. Liquid Machines makes Enterprise Rights Management software products, through which an organization may have confidence that their confidential documents are secure.

For the past few years I have been the Development Manager for several industry award winning DevPartner products at Compuware in Merrimack, NH. I managed development of Code Review, a static source code analysis tool, DevPartner Studio, a suite of application debugging and profiling tools, and DevPartner Fault Simulator, a fault injection and error simulation product.
