Passionate about optimizing systems using model-based deep reinforcement learning, I am currently immersed in my dissertation work while leveraging my strong background in control theory.With a diverse professional background spanning technical sales, fluid systems design, manufacturing, and education, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. I have spearheaded the creation of novel deep reinforcement learning models, implemented optimal controllers across linear and nonlinear systems, and successfully managed fluid systems engineering projects under tight deadlines. Additionally, I've had the privilege of guiding students through core undergraduate coursework for eleven semesters.My career aspirations revolve around becoming a skilled engineer specializing in machine learning and control theory, ideally integrating both disciplines. Looking ahead, I aim to transition into project management roles, leveraging my technical expertise and leadership skills to drive impactful initiatives forward.Beyond the lab, I find solace in the outdoors, particularly through activities like fishing, hiking, and kayaking. I also enjoy expanding my knowledge in history, philosophy, and human geography in my free time.
