To assist and advise the Australian Commonwealth Games Association, Gold Coast City Council, Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Bid Board and other key stakeholders of the key infrastructure, development and renewal that was likely to support a successful bid process for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast as it related to specific DET assets. To liaise with local, state and federal bodies regarding the provision of sporting facilities, including site assessment and feasibility assessment, financial modelling, master planning, managing design development, marketing strategies, resolving planning and engineering issues, gaining necessary approvals. Assisting in the liaison with all contributing parties including financiers, contractors, consultants and others to ensure key performance indicators were being met or exceeded.
