Passionate about making a real-world impact and solving problems, I decided to change my major to computer science (from finance). Currently working on two projects to improve my full-stack development skills, one being a reddit application that will allow users to view and search posts and comments provided by the reddit API, and the other being a fully-functioning e-commerce application that allows users to register an account, browse products for sale, and complete a purchase. Although it has been a difficult journey, catching up from my time majoring in finance to now majoring in computer science, it has been very fulfilling and I look forward to gaining more knowledge and everyday and gaining working experience in the field through and internship in the upcoming summer.
