Project Lead on OptiFreight’s portal enhancement project phase 2. Responsible for the High Level Design, coordination of the efforts of several technical teams to create detail designs, develop and test the solutions to meet the project requirements. This project included the integration into Cardinal’s single sign on identity management system through a WCF service to IDM’s API and a sync to their LDAP system. It also included adding new functionality with the introduction of thermal printing for OptiFreight’s shipping label types though a custom Active X control. New customer program health tool that allows customers to achieve optimal savings though the OptiFreight Outbound Savings program. A custom report designer that allows for customers to modify existing reports by adding filters and adding/removing columns to fit their needs. Technical Lead on OptiFreight’s portal enhancement project phase 1. Responsible for the coordination of the efforts of several technical teams to create detail designs, develop and test the solutions to meet the project requirements. This project included creating and integrating with a new SharePoint site to house our FAQs, Customer Training Calendar, News items, and customer documents. Redesigning the customer activation process to collect all necessary user customizations and information. The integration of Microsoft CRM to create cases to handle customer requests. Redesigning shipping by adding multiple upgrades through the entire shipping process.Sr. Developer role covered multiple projects. The creation of multiple WCF services, rebranding of OptiFreight’s portal to meet Cardinal standards, FedEx WSDL upgrade, the creation and maintenance of multiple RDL reports using SSRS, billing redesign to integration with Cardinal’s SAP billing system and data warehouse, and WinForms work on most of the existing thick client applications. Database maintenance such as indexes, stored procedure optimization, job creation, and views.

Lead Web Developer for all projects and maintenance issues for HLS MedFreight’s portal. These duties included, but not limited to FedEx’s CSP WSDL upgrade, creation of WCF services, and creation of HLS’s ShipPro Advice (price comparison to show users all the available service types and cost and potential savings), CSS creation for IE6, IE7, Firefox, multiple RDLC reports, and add admin user impersonation capabilities. Software Developer duties included, but not limited to creation of HLSMedFreight’s portal and integration to FedEx’s shipping API. Upgrades and maintenance on existing thick client application. The creation of a new Pricing application and web services.
