I am a fully qualified and pre-accredited psychotherapist and counsellor with the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP). As such, I provide strict confidentiality and ethical practise, and attend regular clinical supervision and continued professional development. In my role as the PCI Counselling Service Co-Ordinator, I ensure the referral pathway between client and trainee counsellors at PCI College is achieved efficiently and seamlessly. I provide support to students connected with the PCI Counselling Service and work closely with the PCI Counselling Service Manager, assisting in the nationwide expansion of the service.I completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Middlesex University via PCI College, where I studied various therapeutic approaches, including humanistic, existential, cognitive-behavioural, and psychodynamic, and achieved a First-Class Honours.I practise a form of integrative psychotherapy and counselling tailored to each individual client. I offer a non-judgemental, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients can come to know themselves more fully and more deeply by giving words to their experience. This process affords insight into patterns of behaviour, thinking, feeling and relating behind their problem in living. The fruit of such insight is the capacity to live a more rewarding, satisfying and meaningful life.I have experience helping clients suffering from various problems in living, including anxiety and stress, depression, self-esteem and self-worth issues, relationship and family problems, existential anxiety and a lack of meaning, obsessions and compulsions, suicidal and self-harm ideation and dyspraxia-related emotional and relational problems. I am available to work with adults both in-person and online.
