I managed External Manufacturing (ExM) relationships and contractual oversight with CMOs including; day to day operational routine supply, project activities and growth of ExM capabilities. I collaborated on S&OP, forecasting and planning to ensure continuity of supply and avoidance of back-orders.To achieve this I formed and led virtual plant team meetings and communications and resolution of supply/project issues and/or contractual obligations through leadership of cross functional collaboration (Technical, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Procurement).I developed and rolled out the governance structure for regular communications between BMS internal, BMS External Manufacturing and CMO’s on current and future operational, project and business activities based on Prince2 PM Principles. This naturally supported the Project Management Office to ensure adequate governance of project activities.

I coordinated a portfolio of new launch products, transfers and switches for the EMEA region across global internal and external manufacturing networks through alignment and coordination of all concerned specialist functions (Affiliates, Finance, Labelling, Master Data, Supply Chain, Legal, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing).Two main deliverables were the creation and communication of an overview of project activities and timelines to associated management committees and the co-ordination of forecasting, demand and supply and consolidation activities to support launch planning across the network. I was a member of a dedicated Operational Excellence team that established a harmonized and streamlined product launch process for the EMEA region.
