I am a Peruvian passionate musician, and music and language educator currently living in Austria. Over the past five years, I have been in charge of the Guitar Ensemble at the Vienna International School. I have also participated in artistic projects at Superar: Verein zur Förderung der Musik, and I have taught Spanish at the Instituto Cervantes in Vienna. In my native country, I worked as an educator in prestigious institutions such as the Universidad Nacional de Música, Universidad San Martín de Porres, Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, and the Instituto Orson Welles.The teaching and learning of music and languages have always been part of my life. Throughout the years, both fields of study have allowed me not only to enrich my teaching experience by being in contact with people of different ages and cultural backgrounds but also, they have helped me to become a better human being by sharing the teaching of values in every single situation.My academic journey includes a MA in Music Education earned from the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, where I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Ethnomusicology. Furthermore, I hold a BA in Education: English, and a BA in Music Education: Guitar, both awarded by the Peruvian universities Federico Villarreal University and the National University of Music, respectively. Additionally, due to my interest in International Baccalaureate Education, I am enrolled at the DePaul University in Chicago in order to obtain a certificate in Teaching and Learning in a Global Context for Primary Years Programme (PYP). On a personal level, I am very thankful to life because it has always given me the opportunity to work doing what I enjoy the most. Among my other passions are language learning, dancing, doing aerobics and steps, taking long walks, reading, and cooking.
