Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation partner, with a Data & Analytics practice.As Principal Consultant for Data and Analytics, I lead complex projects in the roles of Solution Architect and Senior Consultant, with a strong focus on leveraging the Microsoft Azure data stack, including Fabric and Power BI, to deliver high-impact solutions.My project work spans three key areas:• Data Strategy and Advisory: providing strategic advisory services to help clients unlock the full potential of their data. Data is typically exported via Synapse Link and modelled using a medallion architecture or similar approaches. The refined data is then made available for reporting in Power BI.• Non-Dynamics Data Integration: delivering solutions that integrate diverse data sources into the Azure data platform, processing and transforming the data for advanced analytics and presentation in Power BI.Beyond project execution, I play a key role in pre-sales activities, including delivering demos, engaging in prospect discussions, and conducting Microsoft "Dashboard In A Day" workshops.As a Practice Principal, I also manage a team of consultants, providing leadership in practice management, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring that our solutions consistently meet and exceed client expectations.

"Big 4" professional services firm.Technology consultant primarily aligned to the Health Care and Government group.Initially I supported a major financial institution by designing a QlikView dashboard to monitor employee engagement and contributions to a workforce optimisation platform. This involved managing the entire data lifecycle-from acquisition and modelling to dashboard design-while collaborating with both the bank’s data team and PwC colleagues. I led discovery workshops, senior stakeholder presentations, and guided the internal development team to ensure a successful delivery.In local government, I led a data and analytics project as part of a multi-year technology transformation programme. Initially tasked with developing reports for a single team, I expanded the scope to create a unified reporting framework that integrated high-level data across all departments, driving organisational transparency. I managed a hybrid team utilising Azure data functionality to build Power BI dashboards while upholding strict data governance.For a national policing organisation, I provided strategic consulting to streamline data processes using Alteryx and Tableau. QlikView solutions and professional services provider.As a co-founder of the company, we focused on delivering QlikView-driven business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics solutions. Our offerings were grounded in strategic consultation, encompassing data acquisition and engineering, data modelling, and the design of intuitive reports and dashboards.Clients included; Pharmaceutical developer; component distributor, property management, retail.Over time, we developed a niche expertise in aviation data and predictive analytics. This specialisation led to the creation of “Airport Analytics”, a comprehensive application integrating data from airport retail, passenger surveys, airline arrivals and departures, load factors, and fare pricing derived from web scraping tools. This suite of dashboards empowered airports with actionable insights to support negotiations with airlines on new routes and landing fees.Building on this foundation, we developed “Route Analytics” and “Network Analytics”, two applications that provided airports with break-even analysis and the ability to benchmark individual airlines based on aircraft performance, load factors, and fuel costs.Our deep expertise in aviation data also enabled us to model a full year of global passenger traffic for a major financial institution. This complex project involved analysing routes with multiple connections and classes of travel, culminating in a QlikView application with over 1.8 billion rows of data, delivering critical insights for market share, forecasting and investment strategies.Clients included; major UK and European airports, airlines.

CRM solutions and professional services provider, focussing on GoldMine CRM, Sage CRM, and Microsoft CRM.Co-founding the company with a partner, we initially focused on delivering tailored solutions for GoldMine CRM before expanding to offer ACCPAC/Sage CRM and the early versions of Microsoft CRM.In my leadership role, I guided the technical, service delivery, and operational teams, driving the company’s growth to 25 employees, with 15 under my direct leadership, including four direct reports.
